The ultimate resource for all things breakcore.
Breakcore is a style of electronic music that originated in the 1990's from hardcore, jungle, digital hardcore, and electro-industrial.
Breakcore artists will cut up, rearrange, and/or heavily distort breakbeats to achieve a high level of complexity and intensity. This is often accompanied by hardcore kicks, rave sounds, and instrumentation or samples from all over the musical spectrum. This makes breakcore an extremely diverse genre, with no two artists sounding exactly alike.
